About

Navya Chandran

ACA Registered Counsellor, DipCouns

Mental Health First Aider

My path to counselling has been shaped by the diverse experiences life has presented. During my own challenging times, I was fortunate to receive support from professionals who were compassionate, non-judgmental, and deeply committed to helping me.

As a dedicated and empathetic counsellor, I am here to support you through your life journey, tailoring my approach to your unique needs. My primary focus is to accompany you as you navigate your inner world, or mindscape, whether you’re dealing with personal challenges, trauma, cultural adjustments, goals, family dynamics, or seeking a space to reflect on your inner thoughts and emotions.

I'm of Indian ethnicity and have grown up in diverse cultural environments. I have had the opportunity to spend significant periods of time in Middle East, India and Australia. In addition to English, I also speak Malayalam and Hindi.

Navigating Mindscapes Counselling

When Navigating Mindscapes Counselling was founded, I envisioned a space built on empathy, inclusivity and authenticity. I wanted to create a practice where people feel truly heard and supported as they work through life's challenges. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, relationships, loneliness or a major life transition, I am here to walk alongside you. I combine evidence-based approaches with deep care and understanding because I believe that therapy is not just about 'fixing problems' but empowering you to live with intention and clarity.

At Navigating Mindscapes Counselling, my goal is simple: to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for you where healing and transformation can happen.

My experience includes supporting:
